Fair Queen Contest
The Richland Tri-County Fair Board is proud to offer the opportunity to the young ladies of Camden, Laclede and Pulaski Counties to participate in the Little Miss Fair Queen, Junior Fair Queen and the Fair Queen Competition. This competition is in the sixth year and young girls who participate are able to interact with other young ladies from the three-county area. Contestants will perform for fairgoers in Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the Shady Dell Park and during this event the Fair Queen, the Junior Fair Queen and Little Miss Tri-County Fair Queen will be crowned.
The Fair Queen will reign over the Fair activities during the week of the fair. Candidates will be judged on appearance, attitude, charm, awareness, and citizenship, contribution to the community, leadership, poise, and their ability to communicate.
Contestants for the Little Miss Tri-County Fair Queen must be 5-7 years of age; contestants for Junior Fair Queen must be 13-15 years of age; and the Fair Queen contestants must be 16-18 years of age.
Please review the contestant rules and submit an application by June 1, 2008 to participate in the 2008 Tri-County Fair Queen Contest. Applications should be mailed to the address below.

Applicants must live in or attend school in Pulaski, Laclede or Camden Counties.

Failure to attend required fair activities could result in loss of title and scholarship. (This is at the discretion of the Tri-County Fair Board.)
