Fair Queen Contest
The Richland Tri-County Fair Board is proud to offer the opportunity to the young ladies of Camden, Laclede and Pulaski Counties to participate in the Little Miss Fair Queen, Miss Preteen Fair Queen, Junior Fair Queen and the Fair Queen Competition. This competition is in the seventh year and young girls who participate are able to interact with other young ladies from the three-county area. Contestants will perform for fairgoers in Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the Shady Dell Park and during this event, the Fair Queen, the Junior Fair Queen , Miss PreTeen Fair Queen, and Little Miss Tri-County Fair Queen will be crowned.
The Fair Queen will reign over the Fair activities during the week of the fair. Candidates will be judged on appearance, attitude, charm, awareness, and citizenship, contribution to the community, leadership, poise, and their ability to communicate.
Contestants :
Little Miss Fair Queen contestants must be in Kindergarton-3rd grade on or before June 1, 2011.
Miss Preteen Fair Queen contestants must be in 4th -6th grade on or before June 1, 2011.
Junior Fair Queen contestants must be in the 7th - 9th grade on or before June 1, 2011.
Fair Queen contestants must be in the 10th - 12th grade on or before June 1, 2011.
Please review the contestant rules and submit an application by June 1, 2011 to participate in the 2011 Tri-County Fair Queen Contest. Applications should be mailed to the address below.

Applicants must live in or attend school in Pulaski, Laclede or Camden Counties.

Failure to attend required fair activities could result in loss of title and scholarship. (This is at the discretion of the Tri-County Fair Board.)

13. All applicants must follow all Tri-County Fair Rules along with City of Richland and the Missouri State laws. Failing to do so will result in the loss of all prizes.
